Badminton is a racquet sport, which is played two or four opponents. It is generally played on the turf court. The court is divided by a net, and a player needs to place the shuttle in such a manner, that the opponent is not able to return it. The objective of a game of badminton is to score 21 points before your opponent does. Speed agility and precision are the much-needed attributes of a good badminton player. When the sport was acclaimed internationally, after its inception in India, The Badminton World Federation, the world governing body of the sport, was formed in 1934. All the law formulations and the laying down of rules are administered by the same. The game was primarily an ancient giant but now is having global popularity.
